temples and different stories of those temples. Every temple has a different
story to be formed.
There are many such temples where the mystery is hidden even today, and we do not know about those activities. There is a similar temple which disappears from the eyes twice in a day, i.e. disappears. It would be a surprise, but it is so.
This temple is situated in the Kabi Kamboi village, 60 kilometers away from Vadodara city of Gujarat state, which is known as the temple of the temple. Here Shivalinga is the seat which people also come from abroad including the country. This temple was discovered almost 150 years ago.
It is on the banks of the Gulf of Khambhat of the Arabian Sea, and this temple disappears twice in the day because this temple is immersed in water.
Now you are wondering how such a thing can be drowned in the water itself and if the water itself is removed from there, then tell you that such a thing happens in truth.
It happens because there is a tide and due to this the temple gets sunk and when the tide disappears then the temple starts appearing, and it happens twice a day. People visit to visit the temple when it is visible.
Apart from this, prescriptions are also distributed and the time is told when the temple is sunk and is advised not to go there. Many people tried to go to the temple at the time when the temple was submerged, but no one succeeded.
The story behind the Mystery
Why this happens in this temple and why it is formed is a legend behind it as every temple has its own. It is said that the monster named Tarkasur was a devotee of Lord Shiva and he made austerity of God and God was revealed.
When God was revealed, he asked God for a boon to kill me only for my son and that the son should have only six days of age. Now that God had done penance, God had to give this blessing to him. After this, Tadkasur started to produce a product in the entire creation because he knew that no one could kill him except Lord Shiva’s son and no son of Lord Shiva was at that time.
Seeing the rising horror Lord Shiva and Parvati got together and Kartikeya was born which is more significant than Ganesha. When Kartikeya was in six days, he killed Pardakasur.
After the murder, when he came to know that it was a devotee of Lord Shiva, he was much disturbed, then Vishnu asked him that a temple should be built in that place where pardasasur is killed and in which Shivlinga will be installed, so that the pain of Kartikeya will be reduced. This was done and then God Shiva himself sat there. After this, Sagar Devta himself used to twice the day to anoint the water of Lord Shiva, and it is still happening today.
It is said that this tide comes because the god God raises the water to Lord Shiva. The height of Shivlinga, in the temple, is four feet long and it is also two feet round. Here a large number of people come from foreign countries on the day of the common man and Mahashivaratri.
